John, it’s a shame that in 2024 we have some of the most extremist candidates in office that we’ve ever seen – Marjorie Taylor Greene being one of them.

Marjorie Taylor Greene X Post: God is sending America strong signs to tell us to repent. Earthquakes and eclipses and many more things to come. I pray that our country listens.

From spreading misinformation to spewing racist rhetoric on the House floor and backing extremist legislation, like undermining gender-affirming care, spreading controversies and promoting hate speech, Marjorie Taylor Greene has proven that she has no interest in serving the interests of the American people.

Our alumni at Run for Something do. Over the years, our alumni have expanded Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, advocated for trans people in Montana, run campaigns against election denying false electors in Georgia, banned the “gay panic defense” in Colorado, Vermont, and Virginia, expanded access to the polls in Texas, ended single family zoning in Berkeley, fought book bans in Pennsylvania, successfully filibustered a ban on abortion in Nebraska and so much more.

Our $25,000 end-of-quarter goal is coming up tomorrow and we need your help to reach it so that we can continue to recruit and elect young progressives who will take on right-wingers like Marjorie Taylor Greene and their extremist policies. Will you donate $5 or whatever you can spare so that we can continue our recruitment efforts and defeat Marjorie Taylor Greene and MAGA cronies?

With attacks on our reproductive rights, discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community and climate crises on the rise, the last thing we need is more extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene in office who are determined to make matters worse.

Putting more young progressives into office is our winning strategy for creating sustainable power in all 50 states. We need to build a bench of diverse talent for all kinds of political superstars – but we can only make that impact if we band together.

So please, donate $5 now so that we can put more progressives in power and fight back against extremism in our politics.

Thank you for standing against extremism,

Sara Hadad
