Recently, President Biden announced a plan to grant amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.

When President Biden took office, he immediately rolled back many of the Trump administration's effective border restrictions. Since then, over seven million encounters have occurred at the southern border, not including the nearly two million known "got-aways" and those who entered undetected. Illegal border crossings are at the highest level ever, averaging two million per year since 2021.

Now, the president is trying to grant mass amnesty to some of those in our country illegally, unlawfully bypassing Congress.

This plan by President Biden is unlawful and unfair and does not put the interests of American citizens first. That's why Family Research Council Action (FRC Action) is calling upon Congress to oppose the Biden administration's unlawful "Parole in Place" policy. Furthermore, we ask that Congress hold this administration accountable for the White House's failure to secure our nation's border and keep everyday American citizens safe.

President Joe Biden recently announced his "Parole in Place" policy, which would essentially grant mass amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. This policy is the latest example of the Biden administration weakening American sovereignty and citizenship ahead of the 2024 election and the 2030 census.

When President Biden took office, he immediately rolled back many of the Trump administration's effective border restrictions. Since then, millions have entered our country illegally. The strain on our nation's infrastructure is nearing a breaking point. There is bipartisan astonishment at our federal government's failure to secure our border and enforce our immigration laws under Biden. And now, the administration responsible for the border crisis wants to sweep it under the rug with an "easy" solution: amnesty.

This chaos is not limited to the border, as every state is now dealing with the lawlessness that has resulted from Biden administration policies. The American people know something must be done, and soon. In just a few months, Americans will begin voting in the 2024 elections. The issue of noncitizens voting is front and center in the minds of millions of Americans concerned about the integrity of our elections.

The U.S. Congress is endowed with immense authority to appropriate funding, set policy, and provide oversight. With a critical election just months away, we the undersigned ask that you do all that you can to oppose President Biden's unlawful "Parole in Place" policy.
