Six years ago, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a ruling that upheld the Trump administration’s Muslim ban, allowing the government to effectively ban people from several Muslim-majority countries from coming to our nation.

This certainly was not the first time the Supreme Court has been on the wrong side of history. This decision joins the shameful legacy left by Court majorities that sanctioned the unjust imprisonment of Japanese Americans (Korematsu) and the perpetuation of slavery in the United States (Dred Scott).

We can’t let history repeat itself.

The fights for religious freedom and justice for all immigrant families do not end here.
