I want to be honest with you: This is a time where if you’re in a place to make a contribution to support my re-election campaign, it will be a huge help. Let me explain:
In just 4 days, we’ll be required to file an official report with the FEC on our fundraising for the last three months. The numbers will be public.
The thing that makes this FEC report so important is that this will be the first time we share our fundraising performance since a new right-wing Super PAC was launched to target me and boost one of my GOP opponents.
This Super PAC is a vehicle for national Republicans, special interests, Big Tech moguls, Wall Street executives, and far-right ideologues to pour large sums of money into this race — and they’ll be scouring our public numbers for any signs of weakness and opportunities to invest more into this race.
They’re pretty hellbent on defeating me to keep their taxes low and their regulations light. Because I’m fighting for working people instead of their bottom line. Not to mention, defeating me in Massachusetts would virtually guarantee a GOP-controlled Senate.
But look, I know for certain our movement is stronger than them. Thousands of supporters chipping in $5, $15, or $50 at a time is a lot more powerful than a handful of guys who can write a big check. But this type of grassroots fundraising model only works if everyone keeps pitching in whatever they can, whenever they can, which is why I’m asking:
