Ohioans voted to protect abortion rights last year. So why hasn’t much changed for Ohioans entering an abortion clinic? The reason is simple: There are still regulations and hurdles that out-of-touch Republican politicians are dragging out in court.
The good news is that we can flip the Ohio Supreme Court to a pro-choice majority this November – one that will end Republican obstruction and implement Issue 1 as Ohioans intended.
Ohio Republicans are more than happy to let Issue 1 get held up in court. For them, the name of the game is delay. Delay until they can expand their majority on the Court and make sure Issue 1 is NEVER enacted.
