Dear Fairfax County Residents,
Please join ADL Washington, D.C. in
urging the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to stand firm against the introduction of a ceasefire resolution.
We encourage the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to continue spending its time ensuring the critical needs of the County are met: a quality educational system; safe streets and neighborhoods; a clean, sustainable environment; livable, caring and affordable communities; a vibrant economy; an efficient transportation network; and abundant recreational and cultural opportunities.
Across the country, many public hearings on ceasefire resolutions have included antisemitic rhetoric at a time when Jews are experiencing
unprecedented antisemitism.
The introduction of a ceasefire resolution would do nothing to bring home the hostages or convince Hamas to lay down its weapons; it would only serve to increase hatred and foment division among local residents.
Let the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors know that you support their stance against introducing a ceasefire resolution that would divide our community.
