John, Josh let you know yesterday about our $300,000 end-of-quarter filing goal. Today, I need to tell you that if we fail to meet it, our team is in for some tough conversations in the weeks ahead. As Josh’s campaign manager, making the high-level calls is part of the job. That doesn’t mean I don’t feel the pressure. If we fail to bring in the resources we’re counting on, we will likely have to cut key voter outreach initiatives. Since polling shows Josh tied with his extremist opponent (with only about 4 months remaining before Election Day), that could prove disastrous for our chances of victory. Look, I won’t tell you that the sky is falling, but the four days until our deadline are really important to our grassroots campaign.
