Originating in Alabama, one of our target states, this landmark case became a turning point in civil rights, unleashing a wave of unchecked, discriminatory voting measures across the country — gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

The fallout from this decision is immense.

❌Malfunctioning voting machines in predominantly Black communities.

❌Long voting lines forcing working families to sacrifice hours they can't afford.

❌Republican-led redistricting grossly distorting community representation, and so many other injustices.

But we're not standing idly by. We're actively working to right these wrongs and secure voting rights for communities that have endured neglect for too long.
