Greetings! We have some thrilling summer updates regarding our caucuses and committees. Our main goal is to maintain connection and engagement. In June, we commemorated and recognized Pride, Juneteenth, and Gun Violence Awareness Month.
On June 2nd our LGBTQ+ Caucus participated in New Jersey’s largest Pride Celebration in Asbury Park. Beyond celebrations, our LGBTQ+ Caucus provides awareness about ongoing challenges faced by our LGBTQ+ community, including discrimination, inequality, and violence. At the beginning of the month, our Black Caucus conducted a virtual caucus meeting to discuss upcoming activities following the primary election. Most recently, our Black Caucus collaborated with the NJYD Black Caucus to observe Juneteenth and pay tribute to Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr.'s life. Stay in touch with them here!
