Dear Ward 8 Residents,

During this public health emergency, the last thing I want to hear is that residents are going to bed hungry. In response to the food inequities facing some in our Ward 8 community, my office, in partnerships with our Ward 8 Faith-based community, will host a meal distribution event on Sunday, April 19th.

Please join us on Sunday, begining 10:00 am at Allen Chapel AME Church for a prepacked meal catered by Occasions Caterers and supported by The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, DC Greens and the Anacostia Coordinating Council. This event is available to individuals both walk up or drive-thru while supplies last. We look forward to seeing you there.

Stay home and stay safe,

Trayon White, Sr.
Councilmember, Ward 8
