Since July 10, 1913, supporters like you have helped ADL:

• Counter the rampant antisemitism of the early 1900s which saw Jews frequently depicted with crude stereotypes in books, radio and newspapers.
• Fight against the homegrown Nazi, fascist movements of the 1930s.
• Champion laws in the 1950s to ban the wearing of facial coverings during public demonstrations — severely curtailing membership in the KKK.
• Create groundbreaking hate crime legislation in the 1980s that’s been unanimously upheld by the Supreme Court and modeled in 45 states and the District of Columbia.
• Urge the White House in 2023 to create the historic National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism that includes 30 ADL research-backed recommendations.

John, it’s for you, your family and your community that we do this work — and it’s because of you that we’re able to work tirelessly every day to keep our communities safe.

YOU are the reason ADL has been able to mount a powerful response to the shocking 140% increase in antisemitic harassment, vandalism and assaults we recorded in 2023.

YOU are the reason ADL is ensuring students are safe from the surge of antisemitism on college campuses, especially since Oct. 7.

YOU are the reason ADL can track, identify and disrupt threats to Jewish families, congregations, institutions and communities and help law enforcement respond.
