It’s no secret that extreme MAGA Republicans are determined to strip away basic human rights, particularly targeting women, children, Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant, religious minority, and LGBTQIA+ communities, along with anyone who doesn't conform to their extreme ideologies.

Today, on the ninth anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to guarantee marriage equality nationwide in Obergefell v. Hodges , we need to be extremely clear.

Several conservative Supreme Court justices have openly expressed their support for overturning Obergefell . If we don't take decisive action this November, we risk losing its protections before the 10th anniversary. Now is the time to stand firm and defend our rights .

On top of that, the far-right has only become more extreme, with state legislatures passing laws that target transgender children, restrict access to gender-affirming care, and ban discussions of LGBTQIA+ issues in schools. These attacks on our community are escalating, and we must unite to protect our hard-won rights and push back against this hateful discrimination.

Our movement is dedicated to ensuring justice and equality for all who face threats from those who seek to strip away basic human rights.

During Pride Month, let’s remember that the struggle for equality is interconnected. By supporting Lauren and standing up for the LGBTQIA+ community, we are also advocating for a future where all marginalized people are free from discrimination and oppression.
