In a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a contribution to support the Governor's efforts and keep Rhode Island's momentum going strong [[link removed]] — [[link removed]] but first, I'll share a few of our recent victories:
This month, Governor McKee signed a historic budget for fiscal year 2025 in partnership with Speaker Joseph Shekarchi and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio. The FY2025 budget includes an unprecedented $120M housing bond, increased education funding, and funding for local road improvements.
Leaning into his experience as a mayor, Governor McKee is bringing our municipalities together to strengthen our schools and infrastructure — 38 communities have signed onto my Learn365RI compact and all 39 of our cities and towns are partaking in the first round of the Municipal Road and Bridge Fund.
Finally, this year Governor McKee was proud to join Moms Demand Action and the RI Coalition Against Gun Violence to sign the Safe Storage of Firearms bill into law.
