  2. Bait Trump into high-drama clashes by wedging him against his own positions or those of his Republican allies.
  3. To get oxygen in the room for Biden’s forward-looking vision, start with Trump’s past, pivot to Biden’s present, and pivot again to future contrast.
  4. Keep tying Social Security to taxing the wealthy.
