One of Groundwork’s partners, the Oklahoma Parent Legislative Action Committee (OKPLAC) fought to prevent taxpayer dollars from being used on a religious charter school, and the Oklahoma Supreme Court just ruled in their favor.

This is a massive victory for the separation of church and state, and it’s made possible thanks to local organizers putting in the work to defend our fundamental rights and freedoms.

But make no mistake, the fight isn’t over yet, folks.

This case is surely going to be challenged further and could make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
