John — Did you see this latest headline in the Fresno Bee?

There are numerous tossup seats in California’s Central Valley region, and the Fresno Bee is reporting that the results there are going to come down to fundraising.

That’s why we send emails like these asking for donations of $15 or $35. It’s not because we love emailing you all the time (even though you are awesome, John!). It’s because control of the U.S. House hangs in the balance, and our ability to flip the House Majority comes down to resources. And the Fresno Bee agrees.

There is absolutely no greater frustrating feeling than waking up the day after Election Day and coming up just an *inch* short.

That’s effectively what happened to Democrats in 2022. We were so close to a massive upset where we could’ve kept control of the U.S. House. Unfortunately, a few districts fell the wrong way — and many of those were here in California.

What if we had the budget for a few more organizers? Or yard signs? Or regional offices?

We don’t want to wake up wondering after 2024’s election. There is simply too much on the line.
