This week I announced a new initiative to better understand the unique challenges and opportunities hardworking Georgians face every single day. As a business owner for over three decades, it always rubbed me the wrong way when lawmakers passed bills to regulate businesses they had little experience with. That's why I want to come work with YOU!

During the House of Representatives’ district work period, beginning in the month of August, I will be shadowing employees at up to four local businesses or non-profits so I can better understand your needs in Congress. I want to make sure that you have the chance to apply!

Only applications for businesses and non-profits located in the First Congressional District of Georgia will be selected. If your application is selected, staff will contact you with further details. Applicants must follow all their organization’s rules and regulations regarding participation.

I look forward to meeting Georgians at their places of work and learning first-hand what it takes to perform their jobs, so that I can be the best possible representative for the great people of the First Congressional District of Georgia. Let’s get to work!
