Hi there, it’s Deborah Ross. Last weekend, I was honored to join our LGBTQ+ community at Raleigh Pride.

Deborah Ross at Pride

While so many of my Republican colleagues want to strip away the rights of our LGBTQ+ neighbors, I can promise you that I will always work to ensure that North Carolina is a safe and inclusive place for all of us — in June and beyond.

That’s why I am a proud co-sponsor of the Equality Act, and it’s exactly why I fight for LGBTQ+ Americans every day in the House. Fairness, equality, and justice are the cornerstones of my work as NC-02’s representative — that means fairness, equality, and justice for ALL of us.

I hope you’ll join me in celebrating Pride Month as we finish out the rest of June and continue our commitment to protecting and advocating for members of our LGBTQ+ communities year-round.

Thank you,

Deborah Ross

P.S. My end-of-quarter deadline is just around the corner, and I would appreciate any kind of support before the month ends on Sunday. Click here to support my campaign with a donation today!

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
