Moral activists will be coming by plane, train, metro, and bus for the June 29th mass assembly and moral march in the nation's capital. Spots on buses are filling quickly– contact your state coordinating committee today to reserve a seat on a bus near you
We will be uplifting and centering the needs of the over 135 million poor and low-income people in this country – demanding that those running for office this year embrace a moral public policy agenda that ends poverty as the fourth-leading cause of death in this country. Our list of demands includes fair wages, voting rights, quality health care for all, and other priorities for poor and low-wage people.
Following the gathering, we plan to continue a national mass mobilization effort to activate 15 million poor and low-wage infrequent voters to the polls. This is a time for a mass mobilization of consciousness around a social justice agenda that can eliminate poverty and low-wealth in America and expand democracy and human rights to all people.
We are a nonviolent resurrection, not a divisive insurrection!
From the Carolinas to California, Detroit to the Mississippi Delta, we are on the move, assembling by the thousands for Saturday’s Mass Assembly and Moral March. We gather in Washington D.C. because we will not accept the reality of 800 people dying each day from poverty in this, the richest nation to ever exist.
If you would like to join us in Washington D.C., please contact your state coordinating committee today to learn about available bus seats.
