Saudi Arabia's human rights reality remains harsh. Human rights defenders, women, migrant workers, and anyone voicing critical views face unjust treatment, while the death penalty is used to stifle freedoms.
TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) at the UN's Human Rights Council presents a historic opportunity for change. Recommendations include releasing prisoners of conscience and abolishing the death penalty for child defendants. The Saudi government is scheduled to either accept or reject these recommendations at the Human Rights Council in Geneva next week.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
By signing this petition, you can help hold the Saudi authorities accountable and push for significant reforms on the ground. Our partner, AQLST, will be visiting the Permanent Mission of Saudi Arabia in Geneva next week to hand over the petition.
