john,
Two years ago this week, the Supreme Court upended 50 years of precedent by overturning Roe v. Wade – the landmark case that guaranteed a woman's right to choose.
Since then, we've seen one state after another enact laws that curtail or completely ban abortion, and one – Alabama – that even banned in vitro fertilization, denying millions of women the opportunity to become pregnant. Fourteen states have entirely banned abortion and many more have enacted bans as early as six weeks gestation.
What do all of these have in common? Taking personal healthcare decisions away from women and handing them to the government. That's outrageous.
Here's what I believe: healthcare is a right. And that includes reproductive healthcare.
This isn't the government's business. Only you should decide how you plan your family – not politicians in Washington, DC. For many women, these are critical life-or-death decisions. It's time we treat these choices – and women – with the respect and dignity they deserve.
As one of just two pro-choice women doctors in Congress, I will continue to fight for women's reproductive care and to make Roe the law of the land.
But, john, we can only do that with a pro-choice majority in the House.
Will you join me today by chipping in $5 to my campaign so I can keep WA-08 blue and we can flip the House? Then we will get the pro-choice majority that will stand up for women >>

Thank you for standing with me and with women everywhere,
Kim
To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in November?
