Since 1972, we’ve been at the forefront of nearly every major legal and policy victory for women, LGBTQIA+ people, low-income women, and their families. Whether in an office or in school―everyone has more protections against discrimination thanks to our work.

But we don’t need to tell you that our work is far from done.

Your $25 membership gift will be DOUBLED to power our work to remove barriers to equality for women, girls and all people by helping us:

• Litigate cases that take on sex discrimination, secure rights to abortion, and expand awareness of our legal protections that are on the line;
• Advocate for legislation on equal pay, workplace protections, anti-discrimination provisions, child care investments, and more;
• File civil rights complaints, urging the federal government to investigate public school districts for creating hostile environments for students by censoring books and learning materials written by LGBTQIA+ people and people of color, and books addressing issues of race, racism, and LGBTQIA+ identity.
• Push for judicial nominees who will fight for our rights to decide for ourselves what we do with our bodies; and
• Conduct original research about women’s lived experiences and provide data to legislators and media that influences policies.

This work, our work―which is only possible because of you―changes lives.

In just the past few months, we helped secure new regulations to protect pregnant workers, witnessed the confirmation of the first LGBTQIA+ judge to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and celebrated the first-ever daily over-the-counter birth control pill.
