Dear?Friend --
The great irony of this moment is that we're facing an
unprecedented crisis, yet many of us have more time on our hands. Many
react to this feeling of helplessness by taking action - sewing masks,
checking in with loved ones, or attending to long delayed home
improvements.
We too are taking action.?
Some people have experienced distress or discomfort from changing
our routines and being homebound for so long. But what about those who
are going through this pandemic without power or without water??
How can you wash your hands without water?
Some Ohio utilities have suspended new shutoffs since the
stay-at-home order, but more transparency and urgency is needed?to
restore electricity and water to every home.
These are basic needs no one suffering through this pandemic should do
without.
We recently joined the End Poverty Now Coalition to
take action and contributed to a
story on Cleveland's Channel 5 news to draw
attention to the issue.
During this crisis, we need to work together to protect the
most vulnerable among us.
Won't you take action too?
Every gift, no matter the size, is much appreciated and
will help us protect Ohioans from utility shut offs.
Thank you,
Rachael Belz http://www.ohiocitizen.org/

Action Network.?
