The National Election Assistance Commission posted a notice in the Federal Register asking for comments on the new Accessible Digital Form Filler Tool for the National Mail Voter Registration form.? You can use it at Vote.gov. If you are really registering to vote or submitting a change to your name, address or party, you need to print out the form when you've finished completing it, sign the form and mail it to the Kansas Secretary of State's office at 120 SW 10th Avenue #1, Topeka KS 66612.
Once you have tried the form, you can email your comments to the Election Assistance Commission at [email protected] by 4:00 pm Central Time, July22, 2024.?

We are pleased to inform you of the recent amendments to the HCBS waivers, effective July 1, 2024. You can find it here on KDADS Website and attached below.
Summary of Waiver Amendments:
Autism Waiver ? Standardizes Performance Measures across all waivers.
Brain Injury Waiver ? Unbundles Assistive Services into three distinct services: Home Modification, Vehicle Modification, and Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies (SMES). ? Adds virtual delivery of personal care services and various therapies (Occupational, Physical, Speech/Language, Behavior, and Cognitive) as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency. ? Increases the unduplicated count and the number of participants served at any point in time for Waiver Year 5. ? Renewals for these waivers are still waiting to be approved
Frail Elderly Waiver ? Unbundles Assistive Services into three distinct services: Home Modification, Vehicle Modification, and Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies (SMES). ? Adds virtual delivery of services for agency-directed PCS. ? Increases the unduplicated count for Waiver Year 5.
IDD Waiver ? Unbundles Assistive Services into three distinct services: Home Modification, Vehicle Modification, and Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies (SMES). ? Authorizes Residential Services for married couples on the I/DD Waiver. ? Amends Specialized Medical Care (SMC) time limits. ? Adds virtual delivery of services for adult residential services, agency-directed PCS, Day Supports, and Supported Employment as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency. ? Renewals for these waivers are still waiting to be approved
Physical Disability Waiver ? Unbundles Assistive Services into three distinct services: Home Modification, Vehicle Modification, and Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies (SMES). ? Allows for PCS services to be delivered in Assisted Living and Home Plus settings. ? Adds virtual delivery of services for agency-directed PCS. ? Increases the unduplicated count for Waiver Year 5.
Serious Emotional Disturbance Waiver ? Standardizes Performance Measures across all waivers
