Over the last few months, thousands of you have signed the petition for a new debt justice law. With a general election in just nine days’ time, today we delivered your demands for action on the global debt crisis direct to party leaders.

With 54 countries in debt crisis, and greedy private lenders undermining negotiations to cancel debt, it's time we ramp up the pressure for urgent action. This crisis is having a real impact on people’s lives. friend, thank you for helping to get the global debt crisis on the radar of whichever party is next in power.

By signing petitions, emailing MPs and getting the debt crisis covered in the press, ([link removed]) together we’re making ourselves heard. With just over a week to go before we cast our votes, there is still time to pin down your candidates on how they would stop financial giants trapping lower-income countries in unjust debt.
