We can't let logging tear down our mature and old-growth forests. We've set a goal of raising $50,000 by midnight on June 30 to help save America's oldest forests. Will you donate? YES, I'LL DONATE:
John,
America's national forests are home to hundreds of thousands of acres of our last remaining old-growth forests -- and the U.S. Forest Service continues to allow these trees to be chopped down.[1]
We've identified 22 different logging projects threatening mature and old-growth trees on federal lands from Vermont to Alaska.[2]
This is crunch time for these precious old-growth forests, and we've set a goal of raising $50,000 by the end of our fiscal year on June 30 to help stop these egregious projects from going forward.
Will you make a donation to help meet our 2024 Fiscal Year-End Drive goal and help defend America's old-growth forests?

The mature and old-growth forests currently targeted include areas in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Tongass National Forest in Alaska, and right on the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park.[3]
These forests provide vital habitat for endangered species, help filter clean drinking water for millions of Americans, and absorb massive amounts of carbon pollution that would otherwise go into our atmosphere and accelerate climate change.[4]
It's unfathomable that the U.S. Forest Service would allow the logging industry to cut down these magnificent trees.
Donate today to support all of the work we do advocating for our nation's precious, one-of-a-kind forests.

To protect our oldest forests, we're calling on the U.S. Forest Service to finalize a new amendment to keep our mature and old-growth forests off-limits to logging.[5]
We're already mobilizing thousands of people to contact the U.S. Forest Service, but with chainsaws revving up, we're running short of time. That's why we've set this urgent goal of raising $50,000 by midnight on June 30 to help supercharge our efforts to protect these forests while we also keep working to tackle global warming, save the bees, and more.
Donate now to help save America's mature and old-growth forests.
