This summit welcomes a broad range of speakers, panelists and attendees representing the United States and several Middle Eastern and North African countries, including medical providers, public health professionals, academics and scholars, epidemiologists, policymakers and mental health professionals, among others.

Mads Gilbert, M.D.

Norwegian Emergency Medicine physician, humanitarian, and solidarity medical worker.

Workshop Spotlight
Motivational Interviewing Training, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday, October 21

Join us for an intensive training session on motivational interviewing (MI) led by the renowned expert, Dr. Kenneth Resnicow, Ph.D. Dr. Resnicow is a leading authority in the design and evaluation of health promotion interventions and motivational interviewing. His extensive experience includes creating culturally sensitive community-based interventions, particularly in the areas of nutrition, physical activity, and smoking prevention. This training is ideal for healthcare professionals, community health workers, educators, and anyone interested in utilizing motivational interviewing to promote health and well-being. Join Dr. Resnicow to enhance your skills and make a meaningful impact in your community's health promotion efforts.
