He put his “so-called progressive political views” to the side and managed a Republican campaign for this same congressional seat back in 2006 – during a historic wave year for Democrats, we might add… So it’s no surprise he’s donated to Republicans in the past and he’s willing to accept donations from Republican megadonors who support people like Josh Hawley and Donald Trump in his effort to unseat me.
