Starting today, the House Rules Committee will consider H.R. 8752, the FY 2025 DHS Appropriations Act. The legislation, as written, would mandate the expansion of the H-2A (agricultural) and H-2B (non-agricultural) foreign worker programs for the upcoming fiscal year. It is important that House Speaker Mike Johnson hears from you!
Call Today to Oppose Foreign Worker Increase!
1) Call House Speaker Mike Johnson at 202-225-4000 and urge him to ensure that the H-2 provisions from the DHS appropriations bill are removed. Be sure to mention that Rules has the power and precedent to remove these provisions, that these provisions are poison pills that will sink the bill, and that these provisions are offensive to the vast majority of voters;
