Federal mileage rate increase [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Home and community-based services (HCBS) providers and other interested parties
* *Effective date:* July 1, 2024
* *Summary:* Effective July 1, 2024, DHS will increase the federal mileage rate to 67 cents per mile. This mileage adjustment applies to all HCBS waiver programs.

* *Audience:* Lead agency staff and service providers
* *Deadline:* July 12, 2024
* *Summary:* If you use certain online forms, you must complete your in-progress versions before July 12, 2024, to avoid losing data.
Housing Stabilization Services survey [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* All people interested in housing services, including lead agencies, providers and people who use services
* *Deadline:* July 12, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS, Minnesota Housing and the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness seek community feedback through a survey. The survey asks questions about how to meet the needs of people who experience homelessness and housing instability.
Opportunities to give feedback on crisis, positive support, respite and specialist services [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* People who are familiar with crisis, positive support, respite or specialist waiver services
* *Deadline:* July 31, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS, the University of Minnesota and other state agencies seek feedback on ways to improve intervention and respite services.
Spanish and Russian translations of the PCA/CFSS worker training and test [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* People who use PCA or the Consumer Support Grant (CSG), families, support workers, PCA provider agencies, financial management services (FMS) providers and other interested parties
* *Summary:* DHS translated the PCA/CFSS worker training and test into Spanish and Russian. It is now available in five languages.
DSD messages

* *Audience:* Lead agencies, CL providers and other interested parties
* *Survey deadline:* Aug. 16, 2024
* *Summary:* On July 8, 2024, DHS will send a letter and survey to MN–ITS mailboxes of CL providers that serve people on the BI and CADI waivers.

* *Event date:* July 18, 2024
* *Summary:* Join DHS and Minnesota Networking in Education and Assistive Technology (MN-NEAT) for a webinar about assistive technology for employment support at 10 a.m. on July 18, 2024.

* *Event dates:* Nov. 12 and 14, 2024
* *Summary:* The annual Minnesota Gathering for Person-Centered Practices is Tuesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. Registration opens on Aug. 28, 2024.
