Team,
I first ran for Congress on a platform that pivoted on gun safety legislation. And in my first term, we passed a bipartisan bill that will take guns out of dangerous hands. But I’m still running hard on this issue – and supporting the Democrats in tough races who will provide the votes to save lives.
As a father, I know how desperate families are for solutions to our nation’s gun violence epidemic. And as a Marine officer, I slept, ate, trained, and patrolled with an assault weapon for four years — I know that no Walmart should sell them.
Gun violence is the leading cause of death for children in the United States. This is a preventable policy choice, and it’s the direct result of Members of Congress caving to the gun lobby.
That’s why I started my Beyond Thoughts and Prayers PAC to support Democrats who will be the voice and vote for gun violence prevention legislation in Congress.
Split a donation between my Beyond Thoughts and Prayers PAC and MassDems today to help elect and protect Democrats to take back the House and pass meaningful legislation to stop the scourge of gun violence. [[link removed]]
Since launching our PAC, we’ve raised thousands of dollars for Democrats across the country who are committed to passing gun violence prevention measures. Candidates like:

With Democrats in the majority, we can take meaningful action to ban assault weapons; require safe storage; enact universal background checks; expand gun-tracing; tighten red-flag laws; and remove the immunity from prosecution that gun manufacturers enjoy.
I’m committed to taking back the House majority to cut through the GOP’s inaction and solve the gun violence epidemic. Prevention requires meaningful change, beyond simply thoughts and prayers . But we can’t do it alone.
That’s why I hope you’ll join our mission — to elect more Democrats who are committed to gun violence prevention — by splitting a donation between Beyond Thoughts and Prayers and the MassDems. [[link removed]]
Onwards,
