Pride Month Goes Out with a Whimper |

It's been a long time since Americans could sit back and actually enjoy the month of June. It was always an insufferable four weeks, breathing in the rainbow-saturated air that fell heaviest across our favorite sports, stores, shows, and social media. But the most remarkable thing about this year's Pride Month may be just how unremarkable it was. Sure, there were still parades, over-the-top political pronouncements, and colorful flags billowing from too many government buildings, but the characteristic dread and fatigue from Pride is gone - replaced by a quiet confidence that maybe, just maybe, we've been heard. |

Supreme Court Agrees to Hear SAFE Act Case |

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a challenge to the 2023 Tennessee law protecting minors from gender transition procedures. After a divided panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit struck down a preliminary injunction against Tennessee's law in September, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) appealed that decision to the U.S. Supreme Court. |

Michigan Democrats Pass Bills Removing Safeguards against Voter Fraud |

Cake Artist Jack Phillips Undergoes Third Court Case in 12 Years Defending His Religious Freedom |

Jack Phillips is a man of faith as well as a custom design cake specialist. However, due to Christian convictions, Phillips declined to make a cake that celebrated a same-sex wedding, which led to the cake designer being sued by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission (CCRC). As such, he's now spent the last 12 years defending his religious freedom, with last week marking the third court case he's gone through since this battle began. |

Former President Donald Trump is vowing to gut the U.S. Department of Education if he retakes the White House in November. During a speech on Saturday at Temple University's Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Trump pledged to shift education policy from the federal government "to the states." Noting that America ranks "at the bottom of every list" in education, Trump said, "We'll be able to cut education [spending] in half and get much better education in some of the states. We'll have the best education anywhere in the world." |
