After the Newtown shooting, President Obama asked me to take
on leading the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. I knew it
would be a near-impossible fight. And I'll admit that we
haven't seen all of the progress we were hoping for.

But we have a moral obligation to keep fighting.

That's why I'm so damn proud to stand with Hillary Clinton
and Tim Kaine. This pair is going to get things done. They
understand so deeply why it's critical that we get guns off
our streets and out of the hands of those who absolutely
never should have been sold a weapon.

And they won't hesitate to take on the NRA, the biggest and
most powerful lobbying group in our country.
