Dear John,

The fight continues to ensure a fair and accurate election result that truly reflects the will of all legitimate voters who legally participated in this primary.

The impact of this race goes far beyond Virginia’s 5^th District, and this requires us to do everything possible to ensure the integrity of this election.

Millions of conservatives across the country are outraged at what has transpired in this election. Hundreds of thousands are praying for me to prevail.

This is a race that never should have happened. The DC Uni-Party Swamp---led by former Speaker McCarthy---spent some $10 million to try to defeat me with dishonest attack ads designed to deceive 5^th District voters. This is money that should have been used to defeat Democrats in November.

This race is an attack on the House Freedom Caucus and the national conservative movement. This race is intended to make an example of me, to try to scare other House conservatives from challenging the status quo.

We owe it to the legitimate participating Republican voters of the 5^th District, and conservatives across the country, to ensure this race is fairly and accurately decided.

My opponent---a candidate who couldn’t debate, couldn’t hold events, couldn’t draw a crowd, couldn’t appear before voters, and couldn’t answer questions---had to rely on Democrat votes in this race.

We know that I received the majority of REPUBLICAN votes cast in this primary. But we also know that thousands of Democrats voted in response to direct outreach from my opponent and those funding and supporting his campaign. Obviously, these voters will not vote for the Republican in the November general election.

Democrats’ hope was to divide the Republican Party, elect the weaker candidate for the general election, and capitalize on disillusioned conservatives. If my opponent were to prevail in this race, Democrats and their media allies would promote and exploit concerns about his documented campaign finance violations, and the ads touting unverified claims regarding his military service. We owe it to the voters to ensure that all the ballots are counted, that the paperwork is properly audited, and that the law was followed.

A victory by my opponent would also greatly diminish former President Trump’s efforts to win Virginia. This race has unnecessarily divided the Republican Party in the Commonwealth, and conservatives are furious.

I need your help funding the investigation of the myriad of procedural mistakes that permeated this election and ultimately could affect the outcome.
