After the post sat vacant for 18 months, the Allegheny County Board of Health has named Dr. Iulia Vann as the next health department director ([link removed]) .
Vann, a medical doctor with a master’s degree in public health, most recently worked for Guilford County in North Carolina, where she has served as health director since 2020.
