Two years ago today, Roe V. Wade was overturned by the conservative Supreme Court majority, creating a domino effect of harmful, draconian legislation that is aimed at stripping away women’s rights and ignoring bodily autonomy.
The overturn of Roe v. Wade led to state legislatures banning safe abortions and forcing many to travel for essential healthcare. Or, in the worst cases, risking their lives because they are refused life-saving treatment.
