Team,
On today's anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision, the words of our state motto "Live Free or Die" echo in my mind. It's a principle that extends to the freedom of bodily autonomy.
Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, the landscape of reproductive rights in our country has become dangerous and even fatal for countless women. The court ended nearly half a century of settled law and sent us backward in the fight for women’s autonomy and healthcare.
Living in a world without Roe has been a stark reminder of the fragility of our freedoms. The right to make personal healthcare decisions has been replaced by uncertainty and fear. Many women, especially those in vulnerable communities, now face greater risks and fewer options for safe, legal, and necessary reproductive care.
I will always fight to safeguard reproductive freedoms at the federal level and restore the right to women's bodily autonomy. But too many extreme politicians — including my opponents — support a national abortion ban.
Team: Reproductive freedom is on the ballot this November. If you’re ready to reclaim the House and elect a pro-choice majority this November, rush support to my campaign on today's anniversary.
