Two years ago, the US Supreme Court – bought by the radical, dark money donors at the Federalist Society – overturned Roe v. Wade, reversing 50 years of precedent and effectively making women second-class citizens in the United States.

Decades of precedent on our crucial right to privacy was reversed, setting in motion the possibility of government interference in a range of personal and private decisions.

Most importantly, people have died as a result of this decision.

Here in Idaho, healthcare professionals are so afraid of being prosecuted for doing their jobs that hospitals are CLOSING their maternal care wings. In most cases, these are hospitals serving rural communities that already lack sufficient access to medical care.

Not only are women who need an abortion left with little to no options – women seeking any kind of lifesaving maternal healthcare can’t get what they need.

Too many women have died or faced life-threatening emergencies, and this decision has not slowed the rate of abortions at all. It has simply made them more costly and dangerous.

I remember reading the Dobbs opinion. It was worrying for anyone who cares about the right to privacy and autonomy. But for marginalized groups in the United States, it is downright terrifying (Justice Clarence Thomas essentially promised to go after same-sex marriage, and it’s happening now).

I’m running for Congress with a full commitment to securing reproductive rights and bodily autonomy for all people.

John, I need you with me. We have a long fight ahead to protect the right to choose and other freedoms threatened by Dobbs. Can I count on you today to help me flip this seat BLUE?

We cannot continue to suffer the consequences of policies rammed through by lawmakers who claim to be pro-life. In reality, their harsh bans on and criminalization of abortion pose severe threats to the health and safety of people seeking lifesaving healthcare – and they do NOT reflect the will of the people.

With Project 2025 creeping closer each day, this election may be our last chance to stop the reversal of our freedoms and the proposed criminalization of gender and sexual minorities.

It’s been a terrifying and deadly couple of years since Roe was overturned. But because of you, I’m not giving up, and I’m so grateful to have you with me.
