Death and Despair from the Southern Border

 

We’ve recently witnessed tragedy after tragedy emanating from Biden’s open border policies.

 

In just one week, we’ve seen these horrific headlines:

• “Gotaway” illegal alien charged with murder, rape, and assault in the death of 37-year-old mother Rachel Morin
  
  
• Illegal alien charged with rape and kidnapping of 13-year-old girl in NYC. Caught & released by Biden DHS in 2021.
  
  
• Two Venezuelan illegal aliens charged with murdering 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston. Both caught and released at the border this year.
  
  
• 5 Illegal Immigrants Charged With Kidnapping 14-Year-Old Girl In American Heartland

 

These heinous crimes are even more heartbreaking because they were completely preventable. These individuals should never have been in the country in the first place. Yet, Biden took actions on day one of his presidency to open our borders and invite in chaos and destruction. He could close the door today if he so chose, yet he refuses.

Death and despair are a deliberate policy choice. Only by securing the border and deporting illegal aliens can it end.

 

All manner of criminals and foreign adversaries are taking advantage of our open border – including ISIS and the CCP.

This is the latest in a long line of security failures – and there’s no way to know how many more potential terrorists Biden and Mayorkas have allowed to enter.

In more disturbing border developments, explosive new reporting from the Daily Caller shows the depth of a Chinese smuggling network, organized by Chinese police stations operating within our own borders, is bringing illegal immigrants into the United States.

 

As I told the Daily Caller - We’re allowing an element that is completely beyond our law to be established firmly as a beachhead in the United States of America, and the people of America are going to pay a severe price, much worse than we are paying even now.

Censorship Watch

 

“Cheap fake.” What on earth does this term, now deployed by the leftist media at every turn, even mean?

 

The same thing that “disinformation” and “fake news” mean.

 

Orwellian language - an excuse for the government to censor content they don’t like.

The Biden team is pushing the narrative that any video that makes Biden look bad is a “cheap fake,” with the goal of censoring and crushing any form of dissent. This is a continuation of the same censorship regime that quashed the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 and the lab leak theory during the COVID pandemic, among others.

 

Soon, the Supreme Court will decide on Murthy v. Missouri – one of the most important free speech cases in the modern era. I’m watching closely for the outcome in the case. For a refresher, watch my video here:

Illegitimate Subpoenas? Time to Rescind them.

 

I was proud to join dozens of my conservative colleagues in cosponsoring a resolution to rescind the subpoenas issued by the illegitimate January 6^th committee. Time is of the essence.

The illegitimate January 6th committee was focused on two things - escalating the political witch hunt against President Trump and getting on television. In their zeal to do so, they trampled on all manner of longstanding legal precedent and House rules.

 

The committee plainly did not have the authority to issue these subpoenas, and they should be rescinded with haste, along with the corresponding contempt of Congress referrals. I’m proud to join this effort to unwind some of the damage by the sham committee and hope to see it pass the House swiftly.
