Team, Two years have passed since the Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, a ruling that abolished Roe v. Wade and erased decades of progress with it. This anniversary is a somber reminder of the impact our target states can have — both good and in this instance, bad, on our entire country. Dobbs originated from one of Groundwork’s target states, Mississippi, where residents were already deprived of crucial reproductive health care services even before this reckless ruling. This is a day filled with frustration for many, but instead of letting these emotions drag us down, I hope everyone reading this will use these feelings to fuel the ongoing fight for justice. Together, we have the power to right these wrongs and restore abortion rights across the nation.
I founded Groundwork Project PAC with a clear mission: To channel our resources into states confronting existential threats to our fundamental rights, equal justice, and democracy.
