Two years ago today, the Trump-appointed Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. After nearly fifty years, abortion rights were thrown into jeopardy.

This decision caused a devastating ripple effect for communities across the nation — anti-abortion extremists found ways to strip women of their right to choose every chance they got. In red states across the country, clinics closed, state legislatures passed restrictive laws, and thousands of lives were put at risk.

Despite this, the GOP House majority refuses to stand up for reproductive rights and has gone even further to push an outright national abortion ban. This is completely unacceptable; that's why I'm fighting to vote them out in November. I believe women should have the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions — and I’m not alone. Poll after poll shows that an overwhelming majority of Americans support a woman’s right to access the reproductive care they need.
