John,
On June 24, 2022, the right-wing Supreme Court overturned the fundamental right to reproductive care offered by Roe v. Wade. Alongside millions of other women in America, I felt anger over losing the right to make decisions about our own bodies – and fear over what would come next.
Two years later, we’ve seen countless coordinated attacks on women’s bodily autonomy ranging from draconian abortion bans to restrictions on contraception, IVF treatments, and essential medications.
The upcoming November elections are a make-or-break moment for the future of reproductive rights in America. If Democrats don’t regain control of Congress, we’re setting the stage for disastrous outcomes that will disproportionately affect working class women and women of color.
I’ve been an outspoken advocate for a woman’s right to choose since I first ran for Congress, and I’ve fought every day to keep Republicans from trying to control what we do with our bodies. John, can you donate to my reelection campaign today so I can keep building political power in Georgia and flip the House blue in 2024?
John, I’ve been vocal about my own struggles with childbearing before I had Jordan. Experiencing multiple miscarriages and a fetal demise were some of the most harrowing moments of my life.
I was lucky to have access to healthcare that prioritized my recovery. However, some of the same treatments I received are the ones being targeted by Republicans across the country who want to infringe on our bodily autonomy.
I’ll never stop using my voice and my platform to fight for our fundamental rights as women. You can help reelect a champion for reproductive healthcare to Congress by chipping in to my campaign today.
In solidarity,
Lucy McBath
