John, while it's been 2 years since the Dobbs decision, anti-choice extremists have not slowed down in their attacks on reproductive rights.

Between attacks on IVF in Alabama, and a near-total abortion in Arizona, folks in states like these have had to travel out-of-state to receive the reproductive care they deserve.

However, no state has received out-of-state patients like Illinois – from 2019 to 2023, the number of patients coming in for reproductive care has quadrupled.

This isn't a surprise, John — Illinois has built a reputation as a sort of safe haven for folks in states where MAGA Republicans have hijacked their bodily autonomy.

And I'm so proud of the role I've played in getting us there. During my time in the Illinois House, I proudly fought to remove barriers to abortion access, co-sponsored the Reproductive Health Act, and was endorsed by two organizations that support pro-choice women: Emily's List and PODER PAC.

Now, in Congress, I'm working my hardest to make sure the rest of the country can follow Illinois' lead, and recognize that family-planning and healthcare decisions like these must be left in the hands of an individual and their doctor.

John, the Dobbs decision, and its aftermath, emphasizes one clear message: we need to elect pro-choice voices in our elected offices.

I've been a champion for reproductive rights and a strong supporter of candidates who feel the same way. While I want nothing more than to continue, it's going to take a strong coalition of grassroots supporters to ensure my reelection campaign can make it against my GOP opponent in the fall. Will you join my team with a donation of any amount you can spare?
