As we mark two years since the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization which overturned Roe v. Wade , it is critical to recognize the broader implications of this ruling.

The far-right's assault on abortion rights symbolizes a broader extremist agenda
aimed at undermining our fundamental rights putting immigrant communities in the
cross hairs.

In the aftermath of Roe ’s reversal, immigrants face a myriad of obstacles — ranging from the
prohibitive cost of abortion care and lack of language resources to the
intensifying border militarization. These barriers make it nearly impossible for
many to access safe and legal abortion services, jeopardizing their health and
lives.

At NILC Immigrant Justice Fund, we confront injustices through dedicated
advocacy for immigrant rights and strategic public awareness campaigns to
highlight the dangers of extremism and defeat it in all its forms.
