JOHN – two years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe in Dobbs v. Jackson.

But thanks to millions of Michiganders who made their voices heard, we were able to successfully pass a ballot initiative to codify abortion rights into our state constitution. We were one of the first states to do so after Roe fell.

Now, Michiganders are safe from the right-wing assault on our civil liberties, but not every American is so fortunate. Since Roe v. Wade was struck down, 14 states have made abortion illegal.

And many Republicans won't stop until abortion is banned nationwide – including right here in Michigan. Not on our watch.

That's why I'm running for Congress, JOHN. Unlike John James, I'm fully committed to codifying Roe into federal law if elected as your next Congressman.

But to do that, we must flip the Tenth District – one of the most competitive races in the country.
