Our detractors on the Left enjoy highlighting the connections between Claremont Institute Fellows and the various "power players” on the Right, whether in D.C., the states, or outside government.

They often present this as a “who-done-it” or “gotcha,” as if Claremont were a cabal of so many SPECTRE-style Bond villains. 

They’re confused about who the good guys are. But the truth is, we are influential.

Our Speechwriter Fellows have penned speeches for nearly every Cabinet Secretary in recent years. Our John Marshall Fellows have served as General Counsel to the Treasury and Senior National Security Advisors.

Our Lincoln Fellows are Chiefs of Staff to leading Senators. Our Publius Fellows, despite being early in their careers, hold key roles in GOP political races.

But more than that: our Fellows include sitting U.S. Senators and Circuit Court and district judges. They include senior analysts or hosts at Fox News and many of their own political or digital media shows.
