When the US Supreme Court handed down the Dobbs v Jackson decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, deadly chaos ensued. 

Today, people in 21 GOP-controlled states across the nation live under total or near-total abortion bans. Forced birth, abortion refugees, and shut-down maternity wards are now an everyday reality in those states.

Dobbs didn’t have the intended consequences that so-called “pro-lifers” wanted. Abortions have not decreased, they’ve just become more costly financially and legally, and pregnancy has become even more life threatening than it already was.  

House Republicans are warming up a bill to ban abortion nationwide, and Lauren Boebert is right there with them. In a recent Republican debate, she proudly declared she would support “any abortion restriction” that came up for a vote in Congress. 

In other words, she would support blocking abortions in all cases including pregnancies resulting from sexual assault, non-viability of the fetus, or a threat to the mother’s life.

Boebert's extreme stance on abortion is even out of step with the majority of her own party – half the Republicans running in her primary don’t support a federal ban.

But in a little over 24 hours from now, she’s poised to win her primary, and we are poised to win ours. Then we are bringing it to Boebert to stop her and other MAGA extremists from doing to Colorado what they’ve done to GOP-controlled states.  

We have 24 hours to keep our digital and TV ads firing so we can go head-to-head with Boebert in November.

There are a million reasons why Boebert is unfit to serve CO-04. Her stance on abortion is at the top of the list. We MUST stop her from getting another term in Congress.
