Donald Trump is already halting our climate progress, and he hasn’t even been elected.
Just the threat of Donald Trump returning to the White House is upending global climate talks. Negotiators at the Bonn Climate Conference met for new discussions last week, but got little accomplished because developed countries are worried Trump will renege on our climate commitments and leave them to foot the bill entirely on their own.
If Trump is already having an impact on our ability to set aggressive climate goals around the world, imagine how much damage he could do if he wins this election and returns to power as the leader of the free world.
He already removed the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement once, but this time he could make it impossible for us to re-enter.
We can’t let Trump destroy our planet for generations,
