John,
Two years ago today, Trump's lifetime-appointed, far-right justices overturned Roe v. Wade.
Fifty years of precedent establishing critical rights to privacy and choice went down the drain – and it caused a ripple effect restricting abortion access nationwide.
We brought the issue straight to the voters less than two months later, where Kansans from all walks of life overwhelmingly affirmed that the state constitution does protect abortion rights in Kansas.
But even though the decision was made by the people of Kansas, the Republican supermajorities in the legislature have continued passing bills to further restrict access to abortion.
They have worked to reduce access to IVF, reproductive health care, contraception, and other forms of critical care for everyone in Kansas.
John, you made your voices heard in 2022, and the Kansas Democrats are not going to stop fighting to protect our rights – but we can't do it alone.
On the anniversary of the Dobbs decision, it's more important than ever to recognize that abortion is a winning issue in Kansas – and with your help spreading the word, we can make sure to elect pro-choice Democrats and break the Republican supermajorities' grip on our legislature. Can you chip in today to support our work? [[link removed]]
