John, two years ago today was the day the GOP’s decades-long effort to take away women’s rights was cemented by the Supreme Court in the Dobbs decision.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. We spent June holding our breath every time SCOTUS released an opinion, waiting – and dreading – for it to be Dobbs. And then on June 24th, 2022 — it finally came.
– SCOTUS reverses Roe v. Wade and destroys decades of precedent –
You could almost feel the entire country gasp. And then it turned to sadness and fury as it became clear: the GOP finally got their wish. They finally took their hammer to women’s rights and they were celebrating, cheering, and dancing with glee while women and allies mourned our right to make decisions about our bodies and our families.

For centuries, women have been fighting for equality. Not for power, not for dominance, but for EQUALITY. And the GOP is threatened by what that means for a party reliant on conservative thinking and male-dominated power structures. They are threatened by women having a voice, a choice, and power of their own.

But we showed up with a vengeance that Fall in the midterm elections. We overwhelmed the ballot boxes in states where abortion was on the ballot, and we voted Blue up and down the ballot.

Now, this year, with all this at stake and more, we need that same energy and fight. Because so much more is at risk this election – from contraception to the future of our very democracy.

WE HAVE A CHOICE between a President who has said point blank that he’ll restrict contraception access OR a President who has committed his administration to protecting and advancing women’s rights.

WE HAVE A CHOICE between keeping a GOP-led Congress that celebrated Roe’s downfall and refuses to vote to protect our rights, our contraceptives, and our families OR electing a Democratic majority who will do just that.

WE HAVE A CHOICE between protecting abortion rights in states where it is on the ballot OR giving in to draconian bans on our autonomy.

So, on this dreadful anniversary, I’m asking you to take action and recommit to the fight for our rights, because you DO have a choice, and the choice is clear. Donate right now to help us get this done. [[link removed]] DONATE [[link removed]] In solidarity,

A Woman’s Place PAC
The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
